Unfortunately, I encountered a pervasive mildew smell in both rooms we tried, which was unbearable enough to cut our stay short. Additionally, the bedding did not provide comfort, leading to a restless night, and the parking situation relied heavily on how other guests parked their cars, making it frustrating to leave at times.

Y'all, if you’re huntin’ for a tasty bite, Lil Dizzy's Cafe is just a hop away! Those shrimp po'boys had me singin’! The vibe at Rampart Street Food Store is a true local treasure. Also, I loved the pool area! It felt like a refreshing escape from the city’s heat.

But let’s keep it real—my room was a tight squeeze and the shower took forever to warm up. I tried channeling my inner philosopher while waiting, but it just ain’t cute! Add in a leaky toilet, and let’s just say, it wasn't the best.

We loved the pool area and the fact that our room had a mini fridge and microwave. The architecture of the mansion was amazing, giving us that genuine vibe of the area. The location was perfect—just a quick walk to Bourbon Street! On top of that, we felt super special when we arrived to find an upgraded room with a bottle of wine waiting for us to celebrate my wife's birthday. What a nice touch!
